House Democrats Release Health Care Bill

Today, House Democrats released a new version of their health care overhaul bill.  The 1,990 page bill can be viewed at:  http://docs.house.gov/rules/health/111_ahcaa.pdf. 

As I read the almost 2,000 page bill, it is clear that it contains many of the egregious provisions expressed to me at various town halls, including: a government-run health care option, employer and individual mandates, taxes on small businesses, an unfunded Medicaid expansion placed on the backs of states and cuts to Medicare.  These are only a few examples of the troubling provisions included in this health care overhaul.
