Health Care Fact Democrat Health Plan Allows for Abortion Health Bill Will Cut Services to America’s Seniors House Call Recap Today, approximately 100 members spoke to an estimated crowd of 10,000 plus on the Capitol steps to strongly protest the $1.3 trillion health care bill and government spending. Speaker Pelosi continues to refuse to let Members of Congress go home to speak with their constituents about the latest released health care bill so constituents decided to come to D.C. to let their voices be heard. Latest News The Democrat health bill will pay for cost through fines paid by employers and individuals. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce states that this bill “does not represent bipartisan, pragmatic, or responsible legislation, and is seriously flawed.” The National Association of Manufacturers states H.R. 3962 “will drive up manufacturers’ health care costs and force many companies to consider abandoning the generous benefits they currently offer.” The Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council claims that “H.R. 3962 will be wholly ineffective in helping most small businesses find and keep affordable, quality health coverage.”

Congressional Budget Office (CBO) analysis shows that the Republican alternative to H.R. 3962 will lower health care premiums by 10 percent and reduce the deficit by $68 billion over 10 years.
